The Bakery

Welcome to our bakery! Established in 2018 as a home-based, gluten-free facility, we pride ourselves on using clean, simple, organic, and mostly local ingredients. After years of serving our community at the Goshen Farmer’s Market, we are thrilled to have moved into our dedicated Gluten Free kitchen in New Paris, Indiana, where we can share our indulgent and wholesome creations with you. Whether you're following a Keto, Paleo, Vegan or Dairy-Free lifestyle, we've got you covered with delicious and nutritious options!

“I love food! And I love to bake and experiment with different ingredients and flavors. Maybe that has always been in my blood, or maybe it’s the traveling and living abroad that has deepened it. I don’t know. I think it’s a combination.”

While on a personal food journey of cleaner eating to improve her health, Vi discovered how difficult it could be to find food that was healthy AND delicious. It became her goal to find ways of cooking/baking healthy without losing the enjoyment of delectable food. She “officially” started baking gluten free, not just dabbling here and there, in 2018. She loves hospitality and being a blessing to others and comes with an extensive professional background in the food industry.

Meet the Team

  • Donna

    AFTER-HOURS BAKER

    Donna has been with Baked by Vi since Day One, and is a part of our leadership team. She is a passionate baker who loves to explore her creative side to experiment with new recipes. Her main focus is primarily on breads, pies, cinnamon rolls, and granolas.

  • Mindy

    ADMINISTRATIVE ASST.

    Mindy’s role at the bakery encompasses several administrative responsibilities including overseeing our monthly newsletters, payroll, bookkeeping, managing and updating the website, wholesale accounts, cost analysis, social media/marketing, and event planning & catering.

  • Sarah

    PART-TIME BAKER

    Sarah is our dedicated part-time baker who has gained quite the reputation for her delicious whoopie pies and cheesecakes! When not at the bakery, she loves to spend time at her home with her husband and 6 children. Her simple family life has instilled a deep appreciation for the importance of community and sharing, making her the perfect addition to our team.
